Charitable Acts

OUR Lord talks about the need for us to be involved with good works such as Matthew 5:16 and bearing fruit Mark 4:20. There are many ways that you can serve and bear fruit. Below are only a few suggestions:

  • Volunteer at your local church or monastery.
  • Pray for others.
  • Click the Hunger Site everyday to help for free. The Hunger Site is supported by advertisers and people purchasing items that they sell. 100% of their sponsor money goes to the charity which feeds people around the world through Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest. The Hunger Site is also associated with other click ministries such as Children's Health, and Literacy.
  • Free Rice is an online free way to give food.  With every word you get right, Free Rice will donate 20 grains of rice through the United Nations.  They have been donating since Oct 7 2007 and have give away already over 15 billion grains of rice.
